it is Monday again. I am exhausted from hanging out with my room mate and working nonstop. my foundations project was a success i believe, I was directed to create a platonic solid sculpture out of paper to emulate a structure or an abstract form. I chose a crystalline formation. this is what i was going for. and i will up load what i got in due time.
In other news, I have a painting idea that im going to attempt to undertake tonight for an art project for the 619 building in pioneer square for the up coming first Thursday art show., that looks at the ups and downs of love and hate. I chose to do the two sides of that coin. the painting will be of two snakes wrapping around a bouquet of lilies and nettles with a pocket watch wrapped around a snake representing time and the fleeting feeling of passion or lust with love. "Love is the dew that falls on both nettles and lilies." I found this quote on the internet the other day very applicable i thought. ill post a drawing of the idea tonight.
I also have a skate board painting I need to start thinking about. hahah! these are good projects/problems to have.
